Workshop on Access to Justice Together with Jaipur National University, Sehgal Foundation organized a one-day legal aid workshop at Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur on April 24. Titled “Multi Stakeholder Workshop on Access to Justice,” the event saw participation from law schools and NGOs with deliberations and group discussions on access to justice. Sh. Ashok Kumar Jain, member secretary of Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, presided as the chief guest and shared that comprehending law often becomes a hurdle in accessing information.

Nestlé India partners with Sehgal Foundation Nestlé India and Sehgal Foundation joined hands for Project Vriddhi in Nuh, Haryana. Project Vriddhi will improve the livelihoods of 1,400 people over three years using an integrated approach, including improved delivery of public services related to health, education, and sanitation; water conservation; and improving farm livelihoods. The project was launched in village Rohira, Nuh, on April 5, amid a large community gathering.

IIT Jodhpur is the regional coordinating institute for UBA for ten districts including Nagaur, Pali, Jodhpur, Jhunjhunu, Ganganagar, Churu, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Barmer, and Hanumangarh. | | Sehgal Foundation staff recognized Vikas Jha, director, Governance and Policy Advocacy, was invited to be on the executive board of Credibility Alliance. The decision was taken at the 14th AGM of Credibility Alliance held on 20 March.
